LELAND ATTENDANCE ABSENCE PROCEDURES
2025-2026
Regular attendance is integral to your student's success at school! Please keep absences to a minimum, schedule appointments outside of school hours if possible.
Leland High School is a Closed Campus. All Students must Check In and Sign Out through the Attendance Office during school hours.
*All absences must be reported to the school within 5 school days (Please check Parent Portal for your student's attendance record). Failure to report will result in the absence being unexcused and the student will be at risk of becoming truant.
If a teacher marks a student absent by mistake, it is the student's responsibility to clear it with the teacher.
