Culture Collage
Each student will make a collage depicting their native/ancestoral culture. Studnts should select the culture of their ancestory i.e. if they are Japanese, they would select Japan, if they have more than one ancestoral bloodline, they can select whichever one they would like to do.

Fandango Culture Puppet
In addition to the Culture Collage, each student will make a Fandango puppet depicting their culture. This is a fun activity, and each student should make the puppet based on stereotypes, but they should not be offensive. Stereotypes are an important element of culture, and we will address them throughut the year
