The Leland High School Information Technology Center (ITC) is
a primary source for information and curriculum support. Leland's
ITC program functions as the information center for the school by providing access to a full range of information resources, in both
traditional and electronic format, as well as opportunities to acquire
information literary skills and integrated and interdisciplinary learning activities which support the curriculum. The mission of the Leland's
ITC program is to ensure that all students and staff become literate,
life-long effective and responsible users of ideas and information.
We are committed to improving academic standards through
collaborationwith project based hands-on learning with teachers
while assisting and supporting Leland students. We promote
information literacy using " The Big 6"and "Information Power"
while building a program around the California School Library
Standards.
